I hope you are all doing well and are ready for a new week?
I’m good, but the weather here in DK could be better. It’s raining and about 5c, so it would be nice with some sunshine for a change.
I am playing with Winnie & Walter products today, and did you know that they have many challenges on there blog? It’s there 5th birthday! Hurraaa….
So of course I had to play along!
I made a super simple card with some masking and water-coloring.
First I die cut the big Hi word die out of masking paper, that I lay down on watercolor paper. I chose to use hot pressed watercolor paper, because it is so smooth. I pressed the masking paper really well done with a bone folder, so it stayed down. Then I pressed Versamark ink on the paper and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I added water and used my Gansai Tambi watercolor to color my panel and dried the layers in between, so I could build the colors up. When the watercolor was dry, I added some white and black splatters.
I stamped the flower and leaves from The Big The Bold And Extras stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black and watercolor them in with Gansai Tambi watercolors. And popped them up with foam tape. The Friend word stamp, comes from the stamp set True, that I stamped with Versamark on a black card-stock that I also added on my card with foam tape.
I cut my card panel down to give it a border and added foam sheet at the back of it, because it had warped.
I’m really happy over how it turned out, and I love that beautiful teal color.
What do you think?
By the way.. I’m not really sure if the lightning on my photos is okay? So please tell me if it is okay, or I have to change something.
