One layer CAS card!

Good morning everyone.

Today I have a very simple CAS card that I want to share with you all.

With Love-1

To start I taped my watercolor panel down with painters tape and then the stencil on top and applied white glossy embossing paste on top with a palette knife.  While the embossing paste was drying I die cut the butterflies out of purple and kraft card-stock.

When the embossing paste was dry I added some water with a clean brush on my watercolor panel and added a soft grey and lavender color on top of the embossing paste and tried to give the colors some flow.  I dried the panel, and added some more color. For some more texture I added some splatters with the grey and lavender color.

I stamped the sentiment “with love” with Versafine Onyx Black and glued the butterflies to my card panel.

With Love

This card could easily be recreated and changed just by using different colors.

I also want to enter this card to some challenges..

The first challenges is a new one for me, but I love making clean and simple cards, even though I love layers.

Click here for some more inspiration for the challenge.

I also want to enter this card to the

Color Throwdown #533

Timeout Challenges

I hope you like the clean and simple design.

That’s all for me today!

Take care

  3. I love the way you take your photos, you put as much time into the presentation as you do your card and it really shows! I love that soft purple background and how you embossed the triangles but didn’t finish them off adds such interest. Its a beautiful CAS design and I’m so happy you shared it with us at TIME OUT!
