Guest Designer for Create A Smile Challenge

Hello my crafty friends.

I’m so excited to share my card today. I was asked to be a guest designer for the Create A Smile Challenge and of course I said yes. I love Create A Smile stamp and dies.

The theme for this weeks challenge is
Monochromatic

And here is my take on the challenge

Uplifting-2

I used this adorable stamp set Uplifting that I’m sorry to say is discontinued.

First off I made some masks from the air balloon and clouds, then I stamped the images with versamark and heat embossed them with white embossing powder.  I used Distress Inks for my ink blending and started with the darkest to the lightest color.
I added some splatters of water that I almost always do when ink blending for more interests.

Uplifting

For the air ballon and flag I stamped them in versamark and heat embossed them also with white embossing powder.  To make the air balloon stand out, I cut a piece of honeycomb sheet and glued it down to the balloon.  I added foam tape at the back of the flag sentiment and glued the balloon down to my card panel.  For the finishing touch I added some crystal drops.

I hope you like it?

Now it is your turn to head on over to Create A Smile Challenge to see the beautiful inspiration from the all the Designers and play along.

Thank you so much for visiting me today
