Easy Coloring with Distress Inks

Good morning everyone.

I hope your day is gonna be great!

My card for today is very simple with easy coloring with Distress Inks and a little bit of layering. I love a bit of dimension!

And of course I’m playing in a few Challenges.

CAS(e) this Sketch! #311

Winnie & Walter – 3+ stamp set Challenge with Kelly

This is the card I made…

WW-happy birthday-3

I got inspired by the sketch from CAS(e) this Sketch!
And this frame was just perfect for this card.

To start I stamped all off my images on to Neenah Solar White card-stock with Versafine Onyx Black.  I colored the frame from the Framed with Evelin T Designs with copic markers, being careful because the ink can bleed.  I ink-blended the beautiful flower from In Bloom: Anna’s Flora with Distress Inks – Picked Rasberry and Seedless Perserve.  I colored the leaves in a same way as the flower, but using Distress Inks – Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn. When the images where colored I fussy cut them out.
The sentiment banner is also a stamp from Winnie & Walter The Big, the Bold and Extras, but the sentiment is from a stamp set by Mama Elephant.

Here is a close up…

I added foam tape at the back of the frame and the flower. I glued the leaves down with glue and popped up the sentiment.

I love how the colors just pop!

WW-happy birthday

That’s all from me today.

I hope you have a colorful day!
